| I am an artist who was born in Montreal and currently live in Tucson, Arizona. I am formally trained in watercolor, but I consider myself as an artist who is learning and exploring. I think the pursuit of being an artist is a lifelong endeavor, and not a peice of paper. I consider my inspirations are my great-aunt Prudence Heward and the pop-genre in general. My works this year are about the association of figures with raw graphic backgrounds, or graphic as landscape. Currently I am using poses from fashion magazines, and reworking the figure to make them less appealing. It is my own form of vengeance. Thanks for looking. |
